One piece design enables the installer to either use as a plug to go into the spiral pipe or to use as a cap to go over the spiral pipe. 

Small end dimension= 1/8" under size to slip into spiral pipe.

Large end dimension= 3/16" I.D. over whole size to go over spiral pipe.
